A black-painted hard top over Oxford White, 18-inch machined black-painted wheels and 32-inch all-terrain tires set the scene for this new 2026 Ford Bronco Outer Banks 4-Door 4x4 at Michigan City Ford in Michigan City, Indiana. Under the hood sits the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, the cabin has leather-trimmed seats, and G.O.A.T. Modes are ready when the pavement ends. This is a Bronco for people who want removable-door fun and a comfortable daily driver in the same package.
The window sticker shows $5,950 in original listed cost of added equipment, and two items make up most of it. The 2.7L EcoBoost V6 at $3,295 is the upgrade Bronco fans look for, and it is paired with a 10-speed automatic. The black-painted hard top at $2,495 includes a sound deadening headliner, a welcome addition on the highway and through a northern Indiana winter. Floor liners with floor mats at $160 help protect the cabin from sand and mud. Equipment Group 312A builds the Outer Banks series, the 18-inch machined black-painted aluminum wheels carry P255/70R18 32-inch all-terrain tires, and a connectivity package with one year included works with the Ford app.
The Bronco experience is the reason to be here. Terrain management with G.O.A.T. Modes lets you match the vehicle to the surface, hill start assist helps on steep grades, and front and rear tow hooks and fender tie-down hooks are on hand when things get interesting. A front stabilizer bar and all-terrain tires suit the mix of beach sand, gravel roads and snowy streets you find around the lakeshore. The sticker also lists a tool kit for door and top removal, which means warm days along Lake Michigan can be enjoyed the way a Bronco is meant to be.
Outer Banks is the comfortable side of Bronco. Leather-trimmed and vinyl seats in black offer 10-way power for the driver and 8-way power for the front passenger, and a leather gear knob and steering wheel add a richer feel to everything you touch. Dual-zone climate control keeps both sides of the cabin happy, carpet flooring in both rows quiets things down, and a 60/40 split-fold rear seat gives you room for gear. One-touch up and down driver and passenger windows, a locking glove box, tilt and telescoping steering and cruise control make everyday driving simple.
Technology is covered too. SYNC 4 runs on a 12-inch center display, a digital cluster display sits ahead of the driver, and smart charging USB ports and 12-volt powerpoints keep your gear running. Push-button start and the Ford app add convenience, and auto start-stop technology is aimed at efficiency. Ford Co-Pilot360 supports an attentive driver and does not replace one, and AdvanceTrac with roll stability control, the Personal Safety System, Safety Canopy side airbags for all rows, a perimeter alarm and individual tire pressure monitoring add to the list. LED signature lighting and heated power mirrors finish the outside. EPA estimates are 19 city, 21 highway and 20 combined mpg, and actual results will vary. Bronco shoppers from Long Beach, La Porte and South Bend are welcome to come take a look.

1st Bronco = A+
By Brandon | on 4/14/2026 10:37:07 AM
I spent months reading reviews comparing the Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. The general consensus was the Bronco is easier to live with as a daily driver. I purchased a Bronco 1.5 years ago to consolidate my SUV and Convertible into one vehicle. It's been a dream to own thus far. Highs +Adaptive cruise control, easy to move down the freeway with minimal effort + Steering - nicely weighted, even after 40k miles goes down road in straight line +Styling - people always tell me how sharp the Bronco looks +Top down - awesome to put 4 other people in and hit the road +Removing hard top - not difficult, can be done by one person +Snow - feels secure and planted in NE Ohio winter snow +Comfort - Seats are great for long road trips +Stereo - Bang and O stereo sounds fantastic +Controls - thankful for buttons and not just screens +Gas Mileage - can average in the low-mid 20's if driven cautiously + Seat warmers - hot hot hot +Room - feels much less cramped inside than Jeep Wrangler Lows -Wind Noise can be pronounced, but not anything I can't live with -Hard top is sensitive, be careful removing it you can scratch and damage it -Windshield - because of steep angle, they like to get chipped / cracked -Interior - materials look a little cheap for a 55k vehicle (except seats = so nice) -2.3L engine - doesn't sound great, but does a great job of moving you forward If you're going to be a commuter, I recommend the Outer Banks model because it comes with the least aggressive tires. It also has body colored fender flares and just looks fantastic. I bought a black one with the black painted hard top. It is quite the looker. Also, get the High/Lux package so you get the Bang and Olfusen stereo, 360 degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. I usually change vehicles every 1-2 years, but I absolutely love this one and plan to keep it until the new model comes out. The fact that it was designed and built in America also speaks to me. The Bronco community and number of people that admire this vehicle will really surprise you. After nearly 40,000 miles I am firmly in the Bronco camp and plan to stay here for awhile!… - 5.0
Great vehicle!

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.3L. No issues at all. Drove it across country and it was comfortable. I bought mine with a hard top because I live in a climate with snow and wanted more security. I would recommend it.…
