Thirty-five-inch tires, front and rear locking differentials and a 2.7L EcoBoost V6: this new 2026 Ford Bronco Badlands 4-Door 4x4 at Michigan City Ford in Michigan City, Indiana carries the Sasquatch Package and looks ready for anything. Oxford White paint under a Ruby Red painted hard top makes it easy to spot, and 17-inch matte black alloy wheels and full steel bash plates finish the look.
Factory options on the window sticker come to $14,170 as the original listed cost of added equipment when new. The Sasquatch Package at $4,350 is the star, bringing a 4.7 rear axle with locking differential, a front axle with locking differential, LT315/70R17 35-inch R/T tires and 17-inch matte black alloy wheels. The 2.7L EcoBoost V6 adds $2,995, and the painted hard top at $2,695 includes a sound deadening headliner for a quieter cabin on the highway. The 10-speed automatic transmission is $1,795, and Equipment Group 332A at $1,675 builds the Badlands series with the Mid Package, front row heated seats, Pro Power Onboard at 400 watts and Ford Co-Pilot360. The Ruby Red Metallic roof finish is $500, and floor liners at $160 help the cabin handle mud and sand. A front stabilizer bar disconnect is listed at no charge, and a remote start system and a connectivity package with one year included that works with the Ford app are also on the list. A dealer-installed trailer tow package is shown separately from the factory figure above.
The Badlands hardware is what makes this Bronco special. Advanced 4x4 and terrain management with G.O.A.T. Modes let you match the truck to the surface, the locking differentials help keep you moving on loose ground, and the stabilizer bar disconnect is there for when you want more articulation on the trail. Full vehicle steel bash plates help protect the underside, hill start assist helps on steep grades, and front and rear tow hooks are ready for recovery duty. Auxiliary switches with pre-wiring make it easy to add your own lights and accessories, a MOLLE strap system gives you places to secure gear, and fender tie-down hooks add to the utility. The sticker also lists a tool kit for door and top removal for open-air days along Lake Michigan.
Inside, black vinyl seats clean up easily after a day at the dunes, the front row is heated, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel on a tilt and telescoping column gives you something nice to hold onto. A molded gear shift knob, one-touch up and down driver and passenger windows, a locking glove box and a 60/40 split-fold rear seat cover the daily details. SYNC 4 runs on a 12-inch center display, a digital cluster display sits ahead of the driver, and smart charging USB ports, 12-volt powerpoints and Pro Power Onboard keep your gear running. Push-button start and remote start make cold mornings much easier to take.
Pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, Ford Co-Pilot360 and a rear view camera support an attentive driver and do not replace one. AdvanceTrac with roll stability control, the Personal Safety System, Safety Canopy side airbags for all rows, a perimeter alarm and individual tire pressure monitoring add further protection. EPA estimates are 17 city, 17 highway and 17 combined mpg, and actual results will vary. Bronco fans from South Bend, New Buffalo, Michigan and Chesterton are welcome to come see this Sasquatch.

1st Bronco = A+
By Brandon | on 4/14/2026 10:37:07 AM
I spent months reading reviews comparing the Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. The general consensus was the Bronco is easier to live with as a daily driver. I purchased a Bronco 1.5 years ago to consolidate my SUV and Convertible into one vehicle. It's been a dream to own thus far. Highs +Adaptive cruise control, easy to move down the freeway with minimal effort + Steering - nicely weighted, even after 40k miles goes down road in straight line +Styling - people always tell me how sharp the Bronco looks +Top down - awesome to put 4 other people in and hit the road +Removing hard top - not difficult, can be done by one person +Snow - feels secure and planted in NE Ohio winter snow +Comfort - Seats are great for long road trips +Stereo - Bang and O stereo sounds fantastic +Controls - thankful for buttons and not just screens +Gas Mileage - can average in the low-mid 20's if driven cautiously + Seat warmers - hot hot hot +Room - feels much less cramped inside than Jeep Wrangler Lows -Wind Noise can be pronounced, but not anything I can't live with -Hard top is sensitive, be careful removing it you can scratch and damage it -Windshield - because of steep angle, they like to get chipped / cracked -Interior - materials look a little cheap for a 55k vehicle (except seats = so nice) -2.3L engine - doesn't sound great, but does a great job of moving you forward If you're going to be a commuter, I recommend the Outer Banks model because it comes with the least aggressive tires. It also has body colored fender flares and just looks fantastic. I bought a black one with the black painted hard top. It is quite the looker. Also, get the High/Lux package so you get the Bang and Olfusen stereo, 360 degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. I usually change vehicles every 1-2 years, but I absolutely love this one and plan to keep it until the new model comes out. The fact that it was designed and built in America also speaks to me. The Bronco community and number of people that admire this vehicle will really surprise you. After nearly 40,000 miles I am firmly in the Bronco camp and plan to stay here for awhile!… - 5.0
Great vehicle!

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.3L. No issues at all. Drove it across country and it was comfortable. I bought mine with a hard top because I live in a climate with snow and wanted more security. I would recommend it.…
